An exceptional lodge that positively delivered way more than the photos and descriptions indicated. Spacious living areas and bedrooms, well equipped, lots of homely personal touches and a most delightful place generally to gather with friends or family. Despite the chilly weather we were very warm and cosy. The fireplace is a feature and something else!

Having a bathroom for each bedroom is very convenient and exclusive. This privacy was really appreciated by members of our group but some reported wanting more counter space for toiletries.

"Wonderful stay, group friendly"

Very spacious and well equipped lodge. Awesome log burner for the colder months. The property managers were accommodating and welcoming. Would highly recommend for larger groups and families.

The location is a little out of the way to walk to Ruby Bay / Māpua as it's up the hill a bit.

The lodge is in a lovely setting and couldn't have been better for our family to celebrate a 70th birthday.The facility is superb and our host Annalise was wonderful to deal with.
