GRAND BASE Nagasaki Ekimae

Within walking distance to Nagasaki station.

The steep slope and stairs around the hotel was tough for my mum who had difficulty climbing them.

The apartment was very comfortable and well decorated, located in the hills next to the JR Nagasakieimae. The ofurô was a special touch after a long day walking. We were also walking distance to the Wharf and other attractions. Check in was unmanned and easy. There’s lots of small shops and restaurants nearby, in addition to the shopping mall at the Nagasaki station.

The window was fitted with a dark curtain but it was too short so the early morning sun disrupted our sleep. I’d suggest the property switches the curtain to a longer one. The walk uphill with luggage under the 37C sun can be challenging (there’s steep stairs on the way), but if you take a taxi it’s not a problem.

So much space for the price! Easy check in and check out(QR code). Located just a couple minutes walk from the main road and a few more minutes from the station. Very secure building.

The room was quite spacious and well-designed, and every detail had been taken care of (heater in the bathroom, and the dining table could move up and down).

The TV couldn’t be switched on, so I tried to text the staff via the digital home assistant. He tried very hard to help me with my video that couldn’t turn on, but then the TV still didn’t work…

家族4人で利用。部屋が広々として清潔感ある部屋。ベッド、4台中2台がクィーンサイズで、夫と息子は寝心地が良かったそう。 一点、ゴミ出しの際の分別の仕方が表示してあれば、分別した状態でゴミ捨て場に持って行くことが出来ると思った。

Hotel is a short walk from Nagasaki station. Room was clean and very spacious for our group size. Check-in and out was easy

There was only one laundry machine shared between all rooms, so it was a bit of a hassle having to take turns using it. Bit of a walk to the main shopping/entertainment area of Hamamachi and Shiambashi
