房子新，床、枕、棉被乾淨，茶水機就在門口，取水方便，老闆跟闆娘待人親切～

浴室沒有抽風設備，不但浴室水難乾，感覺整個房間內濕度也蠻高的～

It's located in Shizuo, which is not in the Alishan national park itself, but proved to be a great location for us. It's located on a beautiful tea farm with so many trails nearby that we really enjoyed. The breakfast was good and homemade and the room had a heater because it did get a bit chilly while we were there. Overall, we were very pleased with the room. It's a homestay so don't expect a hotel-like experience, and the owners only speak Mandarin and Hokkien, and very limited English, so unless you're traveling with a Chinese-speaker, expect to have to use Google translate or flex your Mandarin skills. The bus stop in Shizuo which takes you up to Alishan is about a 30 minute walk downhill from the property, but going up is probably about 40 minutes and there are some steep areas, but we were perfectly fine with that and enjoyed the misty walks.

You have to get your own dinner, either from the cafe next door (which is overpriced and we didn't really like the food there but the Belgian waffle was nice) or from Shizuo as the homestay doesn't provide food. We were fine with that as one night we just bought cup noodles from the 7/11 in Shizuo and at it at the homestay. There are other restaurants in the area that you'll have to hike to, but Google isn't reliable on opening times.

Breakfast was decent

Difficult to get to and shower head stand was not working.

The view was amazing from the balcony, placed close to hiking routes, the setting was relaxed, the room was clean, the breakfast was great (scallion omelet, apples, tomato, sweet potatoes, great tea) and the personnel was very friendly. The owner picked me up and set me off for 200 NTD each way to the bus stop. I was here in August, and there were no need for air conditioning. There was a machine in the room that cleared the humidity which was great.

It is further away from restaurants but there is a shared kitchen where I made cup noodles one evening, and there is a restaurant nearby. The room is not well isolated, so you might hear your neighbor close the door, but the property is very quiet.

四人房空間有點小

Veeery cosy bed and a wonderful view from the balcony. For 200NTD each way the owner picked me up at Fenqihu and brought me back after check out which was very convenient as I had too much luggage to walk to the hotel. Communication via this website was fast and easy. Breakfast was included and delicious and the hotel could cater for my vegetarian diet.
