The Barn

We loved our stay at the Barn. Love the location, the view, the fire place and the outdoor area. Great kitchen set up as well.

wifi was not working. restart did not fix the issue. the sky cable was also not working at the start, had to debug and restart to make it work. didn’t have lighter and newspapers for the log burner.

Nice view, good location for star gazing, enjoying a sunrise and large house, perfect for families or groups. Seemed to be fully equipped which was good and bed was comfy.

Face cloths and hand towels not supplied. TVs upstairs were quite old and only had DVD players, this was inconvenient when there were none at the property.

The Barn is great for families and is in a terrific location overlooking Lake Tekapo.

Great parking and house size was great.

It was not very clean. The downstairs shower was broken and alot of mould. It was a lovely house but I felt it needed a good spring clean and a diffuser.

Perfect location. Great view of Lake.

Shower head in main bathroom needed replacing as it was broken Dishwasher was full from previous renters and not washed. A child lock had been activated on the dishwasher and took sometime to solve the problem. Could also use a scourer in the kitchen as the pots were not clean from being washed in dishwasher.
