お風呂、トイレが汚れていた 部屋の家具の中にゴミ？があった

宿泊費を抑えて普通のシングルルームと違った雰囲気を味わえた。共用部分の使い方は臨機応変に宿泊者同士で勝手に対応してくれといった作りで面白かった。低い評価の宿だが、自分も民泊をやっているので、宿泊料を安くすると喜んで低評価をつけるような日本人客が来てしまうパターンかなと思う。

寝てる間は問題ない程度だが、住宅内の宿泊者の足音や生活音がお互い聞こえるので配慮のない人や子供がいる場合などは気になる。

This would be a good place to stay for a backpacker or group of friends. It is like a sharehouse. Despite the information provided on the first page, there is NO PRIVATE BATHROOM. Bathrooms are shared, toilets are shared, the shower is shared. It is like an air BNB and the host appears to live downstairs.

On the main page it states "private bathroom". Its not until you actually click on the rooms that you can tell that there are shared bathrooms. It definetely wasn't obvious from the listing that it was more like an share-house/ air bnb situation. There are 3 guest bedrooms upstairs and a family room downstairs. There is an upstairs and downstairs toilet, and ONE shower for all the guests. The room is advertised as having a balcony. There was no balcony. My husband and I didn't actually end up staying here and moved to a different accommodation because it wasn't what was advertised. We didn't try and ask for a refund because its true that if you click into the individual rooms it does state shared bathrooms. Again, want to be clear that there is nothing wrong with the house, and the owner was lovely. The issue is that the type of accommodation is not clear. Not a good place to stay if you're on a couples trip, but perfect if you're travelling with friends or a backpacker.

Review for South Wind Chalet – May 15–16 Stay I want to start by saying that the host seemed kind and welcoming—I have no personal complaint with him. However, I feel it’s important to report a serious issue that must be addressed for the safety of future guests. I stayed in the small room with the skylight, and the air quality in that space was deeply concerning. Even before turning on the air conditioner, I could feel a heaviness in the air. But once I turned the unit on, the effect on my lungs was immediate and intense—tightness in my chest, labored breathing, and a sensation of inhaling something toxic. I woke up multiple times throughout the night gasping for breath, with a painful tightness in my chest. As someone with respiratory sensitivity, I’m convinced there are mold spores present—either in the air conditioner or the surrounding walls. Wall-mounted units like the one in that room often have filters and internal parts that can accumulate mold if not regularly cleaned. When mold forms inside the unit—especially on coils and in moist drip trays—it can blow hidden spores directly into the room when powered on. These spores are invisible but highly toxic, especially in enclosed spaces. If the system hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned, it can pose a serious health hazard. I urge the host to have this room (and possibly the surrounding floor) professionally inspected for mold. If nothing else, the air conditioner needs to be fully cleaned or replaced. I’m deeply concerned that continued exposure for other guests—especially those with asthma or allergies—could lead to serious health issues. I say this not out of malice, but because I believe this is a well-intentioned guesthouse that simply needs urgent maintenance in this area. Please take this warning seriously—for the safety of everyone who stays there.

Nice offer from the owner to use the kitchen Positive Freedom to come and go as you please, was easy to sneak out with no awkwardness of explaining why we had to leave on our second booked night.

We had booked for two nights but ended up leaving early because of how awful it was. Do not recommend at all. The house has definitely had plenty of people pass through. The bathroom door doesn’t lock, there is previously used toothbrushes and toothpastes by who I don’t know items throughout the bathroom, there is mould growing in the cracks as well. We stayed on foutons that were stained and covered in hair, the blankets were stained and there was a massive water stain on the floor, the walls are covered in a gross brown smoke looking grime. The rooms doors do not lock they are also incredibly old so bang all night if there is any wind. All night a dog IN THE HOUSE barked, there was at least 15 people staying in the house even though it is definitely not made for that many. The owner made us move our car at 10pm 30cm back after we had already been there for hours.
