L’hôtel est très sympa, les chambres confortables, la piscine top et le personnel ainsi que le restau rien à dire, emplacement bien

Un peu trop de jour dans ma chambre malgré les rideaux foncés. Nous avons pris un massage mais c’est en chambre donc pas pareil.

The pool, the food, the staff, the rooms were all exceptional. Everything on the food menu was so good. The cocktails were smashing as well.

There could have been a full length mirror in the room.

Consistency of customers' service - there were big differences between shifts Communication and customer service: * We chose to have a massage at the hotel for safety and cleanliness reasons, even though it cost twice as much as the beach options. The first experience was okay, but it was done on our beds rather than proper massage tables, which only had a single bedsheet they brought and no clean towels to put our heads and it looked like they’d been used by others. * We booked another massage for a different day, but they left us waiting for 15-20 min. We eventually went out of our villa to ask what happened, and only then were we told that the therapists were late and only one was available. They didn’t come to our room to inform us about the delay, offer alternatives, or communicate any options. Very disappointing.... * We asked if it was possible to adapt a trip, and they said they would confirm it, but they never got back to us to say yes or not. We had to go back ourselves to ask again, as no update was provided. Given that this isn’t a cheap accommodation (which is fair for how it looks), customer service really make a difference to your holiday, and they made the last part of our stay less enjoyable.

the bathroom smelled humidity

Hele fijne, rustige en kleinschalige locatie. Beetje jungle vibes, mooi aangelegde tuin, erg groen. Groot en fijn zwembad. We snappen nu waar de naam ‘bird of paradise’ vandaan komt, je hoort hier letterlijk de vogels. Plek is heel leuk aangelegd, concept super goed doorgevoerd, leuke zitkuil, plantjes, veel groen en bamboe. Wij werden er wel blij van :) We voelden ons gelijk heel welkom, waren wat aan de vroege kant, maar konden gewoon gebruik maken van het zwembad en de bar etc. Ontzettend vriendelijke mensen, achter de receptie, de bar, het restaurant. Ze staan echt voor je klaar (ik was aan het krabben aan mn been vanwege een mug en er werd gelijk spray aangereikt, ontzettend attent!) Hele leuke moderne kamer, met beton/groene accenten. Lekker groot bed met fijn matras. Alles is aanwezig. Grote badkamer, ontzettend leuk aangelegd met de bamboe. Eigen terrasje, snacks en drinks in de kamer. Airco én een fan, dus je hebt de keuze. Ontbijt voldoende keuze - alles wordt goed aangevuld. Probeer vooral de kip en de sinaasappel jam, die zijn echt super! Pancakes worden bereid waar je bij staat, ook erg lekker! Leuke, uitgebreide menukaart, snelle service en erg smaakvol. En dan alle extra’s, voetmassage, snacks in de middag, gratis tuktuk shuttle van/naar het strand tussen 8am - 10pm. Ik vind het ongelooflijk, zo’n service! Ook hier, massage op aanvraag (tegen bijbetaling) en vervoer naar andere plekken dan het strand ook te regelen bij receptie. Zouden wij deze plek aanraden? Jazeker!

Als we dan écht iets moeten noemen, een paar ligbedden + parasol extra?

Si peu. Un peu plus de diversité au petit déjeuner d’un jour à l’autre.
