The rooms and service were amazing. The breakfast was healthy and super tasty.

Everything. The design of the rooms & reception, the quality of finish, the amenities in the rooms like speakers, log burners, the personalities of the staff, the food grown in the garden, the view, the retreat culture, the location to all of western Lisbon, the heated pool, the offer of their own rental car. Everything.

The location was wonderful. Beautiful area, villages, beaches and restaurants nearby.

If we had been advised there is construction work going on we would not have booked this hotel. We stayed in a very expensive hotel to be met with a very noisy, dusty building site. We had to leave the hotel all day to escape it, could not eat breakfast outside, our room was right next to the building site and were unable the outside space we had upgraded to, we weren't even offered a different room despite the hotel only have a few rooms booked. The management of the hotel and Booking.com did not advise this in advance and the owners have had no interest in replying to our issues.

The fragrance of the rooms is lovely. And the heated pool is exceptional. The food was also delicious and they tailored the menu individually for my young daughter.

There is currently some construction work next door.

Beautiful grounds and common areas. The staff are what made it so special, however. Super helpful, friendly, and attentive.

Perfectly located between various places of interest whether beaches or towns (that's if you can drag yourself away from the beautiful setting and pool). Only 30 mins drive from Lisbon but in a truly tranquil location. Rooms / apartments command spectacular sea views from where you can watch amazing sunsets. The amazingly helpful and friendly staff are on hand to offer tips and advice and they make the meanest cocktail west of Lisbon! They really make you feel welcome. Probably the best breakfasts we have had anywhere. Local restaurants within walking distance are outstanding and provide a variety of wonderful dishes. Many stay open late so if you do finally drag yourself away from Charm Nature, nothing ever feels rushed. We can't wait to go back.

Can't think of anything negative to say about our stay save that we wished it could gave been longer.
