Liston Inn Suites (Piazza) - Heart of Corfu Old Town

Excellent apartment, location fantastic right at the heart of Liston near to shopping, parking and the sea. The car park nearby was so convenient and only €3 a day, 5 mins walk from apartment, it gets a little busy but a short wait got us a spot. Apartment clean and airy, good air conditioning and kitchen facilities. Only downside were the stairs lugging holiday luggage was a strain might be a struggle for some. Overall great experience in an excellent spot.

It’s right in the Centre of old town. Very convenient. After our stay, we took the ferry to igounetmitsa. The taxi Centre is only 3 min walk and cost 15€

Lights didn't always work in stairwell.

The apartment is right in the city center, luckily it isn't noisy due to the location. Big enough and comfortable for 2 persons. There were airco's in every room, which was a big plus during the hot summer months.

We booked this apartment specifically because parking was mentioned, while other properties in close distance didn't have it. However, what they failed to mention is that they don't offer private parking, instead they mean that the municipality of Corfu allows free parking on the streets. That can be misleading for any visitor who doesn't know the area. The center of Corfu is car-free. Looking for a parking spot in August has been a nightmare, the traffic congestion was worse than the center of Athens. Apart from that, the rain shower head seemed like it had never been properly cleaned, it had an excessive amount of limescale and I ended up using only the movable head. The narrow alley where the building is located becomes very stuffy from the exhausts of the nearby restaurant, so opening the windows isn't an option, there's no view whatsoever... The airco helped a lot to avoid the stuffiness. The front door at street level would stay open all the time, the lock didn't work. The door of the apartment was fine. The building has a central wooden staircase, every day we would hear the footsteps of the other visitors while they were using the stairs.

Great location in the middle of old town! Perfect size for 2-3 people.

Property wasn’t cleaned and ready for us to check in at the previously agreed upon time. We had to message the property management when we showed up, only to learn the property wasn’t ready yet (took and additional 2 hours past check in to clean). Management was quick to respond when contacted and help with work arounds (ex: storing our luggage until cleaning was done), but we wish the delayed check in would’ve been proactively communicated. We also had difficulties getting the hot water to work.

Great location in the heart of old town. It was clean and well furnished.
