CALocation. Close to mini van dropoff/pickup to/from Bangkok. Friendly staff. Decent free breakfast from 7am-10am. I stayed in the all female dorm. I had quiet roommates.
The lights in the dorm are on all night but can cover eyes. Showers can be cleaner. In the dorm room I can still hear person from lounge area talking loudly on phone.

GBVery nice hostel right on the main road in Pak Chong, perfect for Khao Yai. Not far walk from train station. Very clean, staff work very hard to keep it nice, showers and toilets decent. Beds were comfy too. Hostel staff helped me out when I broke my phone and came with me to phone shop to translate and also let me use the computer at the hostel.
Only thing is I was too hot both nights because the staff wouldn’t let me change the air con temp in the room, however second night I managed to move closer to the air con and slept better.
