Was perfect for one night's stay, shower was amazing, manager helpful, bargain

Was everything you’d expect from a budget place to stay. Tea/coffee, basic amenities, and a clean/comfortable warm place to sleep.

Disappointing…. The bedspread was dirty and very old, I couldn’t sleep because my skin was itchy all night.

The accommodation is basic but has good free parking and tea/ coffee/ fridge facilities. Very friendly and helpful service. It was good value for money.

The room and bed were comfortable. I couldn't find Hot water there was no soap.

For the good rate we paid the room had everything we needed. Great location.

No heating on when we arrived but was on in the evening

Stayed at the Havening Guest House just for one night. Room was large and having a fridge in the room was handy. Also plenty of tea, coffee etc.. Our room was at the front of the house and it was on a busy road so lots of traffic noise all night which can’t be helped but we live in the country so was surprised the traffic noise went on all night. Guest House was very tired looking and bathroom needed a revamp, however shower was very hot which was a pleasant surprise. Added bonus was off street parking. At the end of the day it cost £55 for 2 of us and it was conveniently situated to attend a family funeral so can’t complain.
