Angelo is a fantastic host! Full of advice on the area and very friendly. Even cooked us a delicious meal on one of the nights!

Angelo(Host) is super friendly and really willing to help the guest. We stayed 2nigh but it was pretty short to explore all the city and near areas. Strongly recommend to stay here.

Comfortable and clean and great breakfast

It was a bit scary on the balcony as I don’t like heights but the view was amazing .

This was hands down the highlight of our trip to Italy. The location is great, close to the ferry departures to get you to Amalfi, positano and Capri. There is also a lot of charm in Salerno itself, we enjoyed exploring the shops there and had the best Gelato in our entire trip close to this location. There is a convenient bus stop a few minutes away and only a 10 minute walk to the city center. Waking up to the beautiful ocean view from our patio with our host's amazing breakfast is something we are still talking about. Angelo, our host really made us feel at home. He offered amazing food every day and treated us like family. We truly felt we left with not just an unforgettable experience, but a good friend. He was kind, helpful and respectful of our privacy. The host Angelo is truly amazing guide into italian culture! He treated us like queens and gave us a good impression of Italian hospitality. The room was tidy and well lit.

Angelo was such a good host. He made us lunch the day we arrived because he said the restaurants would be closed at this time. You have a lovely view of the port and you can have breakfast on the balcony which was really nice. About a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Angelo also gave us recommendations of where we should visit, and where we should eat.

You do need to go up/down the street stairs - but you quickly get used to it.

Nothing at all, worst accomodation we ever stayed in.

If you want to die of heat, stay here. When I booked it I did not see it does not have air conditioning. Outside was 40 degrees, inside was even more, we booked here 3 nights, we barely rezisted 1 (we slept on the floor on the balcony). For the other 2 the owner refused to refund us any money back. Also, the owner is staying with you in the same apartment, which honestly does not make you feel comfortable at all. The money does not reflect the conditions at all. As a conclusion, worst experience for us.

One of the best (if not the best) accommodation experiences I’ve had in my life and do you know why? The host Angelo, what a guy! It’s no coincidence it has ‘angel’ in his name, as that’s what he is. The hosting experience was incredible, he cooked dinner one night bringing the guests together. Shared his homemade limoncello (which was amazing by the way!). But he just went above and beyond, my plane was delayed and I got to his town late, no taxis (he came and picked me up from the station at midnight, without me asking). On the final day he showed me where he got all his fruit and veg from (an authentic Italian family shop), took me to the supermarket and treated me to some wine to take home to England. I also learnt a few cooking tips while staying here! As for the room, it’s a huge room, super comfy bed, incredible views over the harbour (easy to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by). The pictures don’t actually do the room justice, or the bathroom (the private bathroom is extremely nice and furnished very well - nice high pressured shower etc.). Even little things like having wireless chargers on the bedside tables, that took me by surprise (I’ve never seen that anywhere else). I picked this room reading other reviews about how good the host was and I’m so glad I did, he genuinely made my trip to Italy - I’ll be coming back and seeing him. He makes a great cappuccino in the morning as well!

The only thing for me was that there was no air con - he does have a very good fan in the room instead which does help. That’s a tiny price to pay for an otherwise perfect stay.
