Casa sul mare

Stayed here for 5 nights in late October. Used Salerno as a base for the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Without a doubt, our host Angelo made this an even more memorable stay! The room has the most magnificient view of the harbour and ocean, good size bathroom and a shared seating/dining area. Very clean and comfortable. The property is about a 25 min walk from the train station and main ferry terminal (Concordia). There is a closer ferry terminal where the cruise ships come in. There are fabulous restaurants and little shops for bread and cheese etc very close by. Great location. Back to Angelo. He provided a lovely breakfast each morning on the balcony and even cooked a delicious meal for us one night. He is a fountain of knowledge on all things Salerno and gave us many excellent recommendations on things to see and places to go. He obviously loves what he does and he made our stay so easy. Highly recommend Casa Sul Mare not only for the amazing views but for the warmth and humour that Angelo injects into your stay!!

Nothing - just be aware that there are quite a few stairs to negotiate on the way down to the main street. Thankfully there is an escalator to get back up!!

Location was amazing. Angelo was the best host. His fresh croissants were the best!

Bit of a hike to get there if you are walking. Make sure you take taxi.

Tolle Aussicht auf den geschäftigen Hafen, 170 Treppenstufen über der Stadt. Hinauf hat es eine Rolltreppe das hilft sehr. Angelo ist sehr nett und ungemein hilfsbereit. Salerno ist die kleine, hübsche, ruhige Schwester von Napoli.

Angelo is an exceptional host and goes out of his way to help, as well as giving personal opinions and suggestions. Personally cooked a fabulous dinner for us and sent us to Caserna , which we had no idea about and enjoyed immensely. Also has a terrific view of harbor

L'emplacement était super pour la vue et pour prendre le bateau pour Capri.

Super vriendelijke eigenaar. Hij wil graag helpen en is goed bereikbaar. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en wordt geserveerd op je eigen balkon. Zo fijn! Wij hadden genoeg aan het lekkere standaardontbijt, maar de eigenaar heeft aangegeven dat speciale wensen ook kunnen worden doorgegeven. De kamer is verder ruim en met een mooi uitzicht over de haven. Via (rol)trap is het oude centrum ook op loopafstand.
