The location is very good and you find yourself in the old city with a lot of restaurants and local groceries which I strongly recommend. Seaview, marina view and port view all in the same time. You can take the boat and go to Amalfi, Positano or Capri just by crossing the street. You can walk on the seafront, so an evening promenade can be organised within seconds. Angelo is a marvelous host and he’ll never finish his options to please you or to recommend you what to do in that period. He’s an endless source of local recommendations and he’ll take care of you with traditional italian breakfast and the best home made limoncello. He’s clearly someone who gives original, great and unique value to the place and you’ll feel it from the beginning. I wish to have a host like Angelo everywhere!

Too hot due to missing AC

We had a lovely stay! Angelo welcomed us with a warm smile and arranged as a delicious meal of home made pasta and good wine. We got to taste his limoncello which was mentioned in the previous feedbacks and it was amazing! The view is beautiful and location is very convenient if you want to visit Amalfi coast by ferry. Angelo took good care of us everyday and brought us watermelon etc. He really wanted us to feel like being home. ❤️

Angelo was a wonderful host, he was so helpful with giving advice on local transport options and on places to visit nearby. He even made us lunch of pasta with fresh pesto and limoncello when we arrived as we’d had a difficult journey from the airport! The room and bathroom were simple but clean and comfortable. There are quite a few reviews about the lack of AC in the room but this is explained in the property description and we found the fan was sufficient to keep us cool. The balcony has incredible sea views of the port and the city and we really enjoyed having breakfast out there every morning. The breakfast is fairly simple a croissant, coffee and fruit/yoghurt but is all you need in the heat! The location was good, near to the old town and although up a hill it’s easily accessible by stairs and an escalator back up.

It would have been good to have a dedicated shelf in the fridge for guests to put drinks and snacks in the hot weather. Maybe a little bit more variety in the breakfast as well. Overall nothing was bad at all and we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay here, including amazing views over the port, tasty breakfasts cooked by Angelo, and easy walking to lots of great restaurants. Angelo was a great host and gave us lots of helpful suggestions for day trips (check out Paestum and the buffalo mozzarella farm) and good restaurants.

We like the host and the location

We loved everything about our stay. The location is perfect - very easy walk to downtown and the train, and easy access to the Amalfi coast. The property is beautiful - the room is large, the view is amazing, and the bed is very comfortable. But the highlight was our host, Angelo. He was so helpful and kind, gave us many recommendations for restaurants and things to see, and made us a delicious meal. Stay here, you won’t regret it!
