Overall, the accommodation was what I expected and what I wanted.

Just a few quibbles - The limited kitchenette was fine for a short stay. The absence of a kitchen sink meant that I had to wash dishes etc in the bathroom. Absence of a dishcloth made this a little inconvenient. Provision of normal condiments was basic, e.g. no pepper, salt. I purchased both and left them in the unit for the use of future guests. The absence of a usable table and chair for eating was a particular negative. The small occasional table provided was very unstable and its collapse under normal use led to the breakage of a wine glass. I would recommend that the units be equipped with a proper table and chair for meals.

Loved the styling and decor in the cottage and how clean it was. Bed was comfy. A classy staycation in a picturesque location.

We were married there 4 years ago so was excited to stay there for our anniversary.

It was dirty. Stains on the pillows. Mould in the showers. The room smelt so mouldy that we had to air the room out before we could sleep in it. I messaged the owner when we checked in in the afternoon to see where we could buy wine (it’s a WINERY after all). He told us they would open at 10am the following morning (check out time!).

Extreme rudeness from the male answering on the front desk. Seriously disgusting behaviour. Do yourself a favour and skip staying at this toxic place at all costs.

The room was clean and comfortable and it was a good location for some of the places we wanted to visit nearby. Scarlett was very friendly and helpful when we checked in.

The bathroom window didn’t close properly and some unwanted ‘bugs’ came in. The kitchenette was very basic compared to other places we’ve stayed. A washing up bowl would be really useful as washing up needs to be done in the bathroom sink.

Location is nice enough, but room had no AC.

Room's AC was not working. No office/staff on arrival. AC wasn't fixed when notified.
