Staff food comfortable beds clean

A bit out of the way from anywhere . But it was a lovely little hideaway from the outside world as such

The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly & attentive. Evening meal was tasty.

Breakfast starting earlier than 9am on weekdays would suit business travellers better

Very friendly and helpful staff. The pub feels homely and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for money as well.

The room faced the front of the pub and needs blackout blinds. There was a spotlight in the car park that shined directly into the room until it went off about 11.15pm. There was no heating in the bathroom and it was freezing. In the morning, there is no lighting at all in the car park and it was pitch black. Dinner was a bit expensive for staying in a pub (£37 for two courses and a pint!)

Lovely old characterful inn with comfy beds and cozy rooms. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Only feedback would be to put black out blinds in the windows as cars going along the road outside with full beams was a bit disturbing, especially in the morning when the commute must start.

Staff were rather confused about the menu and finding us a table. For breakfast I ordered the bacon bap but received it on bread.
