Location and quirkiness of the apartment

Apartment sleeps four but only two chairs so nowhere for all to sit, no hot water for the bath and electric shower kept cutting out

Lovely room and a great location.

The macerator toilet and bathroom fan were extremely loud and a smell of drains most of the time along with intermittent hot water through the sink tap ! Obviously it's an old building and the macerator is probably the only option.

Great location near the Abbey steps

Horrid eggy smell from the macerator (a new one on me) in the toilet. It was very loud so we had to turn off at night as it came on even if you just ran a tap. The downside is that it stunk. Also the bathroom extra

Location was excellent, right in the centre of Whitby.

The sound proofing between bedrooms is limited, so you can hear people walking around upstairs etc.
