Doola River Edge

Tolle Hotelanlage mit Pool mitten im Dschungel, sehr ruhig gelegen und perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für den Udawalawe Nationalpark. Obwohl wir nur ein Doppelzimmer gebucht hatten, bekamen wir wegen unseres kleinen Sohnes ein großzügiges Dreibettzimmer – sehr aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und mit schönem Bad, gutem Wasserdruck, heißem Wasser sowie Klimaanlage und Ventilator ausgestattet, was die Nächte sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Freundlicher Empfang mit Begrüßungsgetränk und insgesamt nettes Personal.

Die Qualität des Frühstücks- und Dinnerbuffets war in Ordnung, wir hatten auf unserer Reise aber auch schon besser gegessen. Zudem beginnt das Dinner erst um 19 Uhr, was mit kleinem Kind etwas spät ist.

Tolles Hotel mitten in der Natur. super Pool , sehr sauber,100% Empfehlung komme nicht das erste mal dort hin und auch nicht das letzte mal der Natur und Ruhe sucht ist dort gut aufgehoben.

Doola River Edge ist ein wirklich toller Ort, vor allem für Familien! Das weitläufige Gelände mit Sielplatz und Pool bietet jede Menge Raum und Möglichkeiten für Kinder und Erwachsene, um sich zu entspannen oder auszutoben. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hat sich sehr bemüht, uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Das Zimmer war super geräumig, sauber und modern eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem! Die Lage ist auch top, ringsum nur Natur, so dass es wunderbar ruhig und erholsam war.

Das Essen war gut, die Speisekarte ist vielfältig, könnte aber etwas kreativer sein. Ist aber kein großer Minuspunkt, wir haben alles genossen.

The rooms were the cleanest we've seen in Sri Lanka and very spacious. The kids loved the big pool. The food was also really amazing, especially dinner, the best we had in Sri Lanka. We went out for dinner one night and regretted it, because the food at the hotel was really the best and not expensive at all.The staff was very knowledgeable, hospitable, and friendly. Special thanks to Hasanthi, who always welcomed us to the restaurant with a smile and made sure we and our children were well cared for. Even with a wound on her foot, she kept running back and forth all day serving food and drinks. Respect!

Honestly, absolutely nothing. If I had to think of anything, it would be that, like other accommodations in Sri Lanka, the shower water temperature is sometimes difficult to regulate because it relies on solar energy.

Really incredible rooms and property with a super huge pool. Really enjoyed sitting on our porch and watching birds. A great value too.

They don't sell alcohol, would have been nice to be able to order drinks by the pool or while at the property.

honestly? Much better than I expected. everything was great, exactly how I supposed to. The rooms were clean, personel was helpful, the bathrooms were equipped higher than I expected. also the water pressure - it was probably the best water pressure on our whole trip, so big plus. The food is also great, no matter is it breakfast, lunch or dinner. I can say that the dinners are the best.

Très bel emplacement. Équipements de très bonne qualité. Et la piscine un vrai plus surtout avec des enfants. Le personnel était au petit soin.
