Doola River Edge

Beautiful room with a view of the jungle. Pool was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The staff arranged our safari trip and provided a packed breakfast for us to take.

The property location (not their fault) was a little far from anything. We would have enjoyed are stay more if there were other guests as it felt a bit lonely being the only ones in such a big hotel.

Had a packed breakfast as went on an early morning safari . Dinner the night before was freshly cooked ,superb curry dishes and very generous portions.

Die Lage mitten in der Natur, die herzliche Ruhe,Das Personal ist absolut bemüht und freundlich, würde hier immer wieder übernachten

Een heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen. Heel schoon en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Het zwembad is ook heel schoon. Hiervandaan kan je goed de safari doen in Udawalawe National Park. De ticketprijs staat vast en het hotel regelde voor ons de Jeep met chauffeur (6 pers) voor 8.000 Lkr. Voor zover wij konden nagaan, een heel redelijke prijs. Hij kwam ons bij het hotel ophalen. We hebben ook de Elephant Transit Home bezocht 5 km verderop. Het enige nadeel was dat de houten stoelen erg hard zijn en geen kussen hebben. Maar dat hebben we op meer plekken in Sri Lanka gezien.
