Seashell - Hastings

The flat is in a great location, easy to get everywhere and lovely having a view of the sea.

It would have been nice to have some basic tea and coffee making facilities e.g. just teabags/milk available (nb there was no coffee machine as per the photos). Also the cold tap for the shower doesn't appear to work very well - we all had to navigate scalding hot showers although I suppose it's better than having no hot water!

The lift doesn’t work and my other half being pregnant was a challenge to walk up the stairs to the apartment

The location was fine

There were stairs no mention of this. The lift was out of order no mention of this. This flat is on the third floor, I find stairs difficult, I would not have booked this flat had I known.. the flat itself was ok very uncomfortable furniture we had to sit on the bed.

Beds and bedding were very comfortable! Location was the best, so close to everything we wanted to explore so really made the trip as easy as it could be. Was literally just a short walk from the train station, very easy to get to. Excellent view of the beach, could hear the crashing waves and the seagulls which was lovely. Shower was really powerful which is great. Didn't use the washing machine as there is no washing powder/ liquid but it was clean and smelled amazing.

Downstairs main door was always on the latch therefore strangers were sneaking in and out not so good. Overall was clean but there was dust in a lot of places, hair in the plug hole and the mirrors had smears on them so cleaning wasn't up to standards. For the price they state there's a coffee machine but no pods for it and there wasn't any condiments like in a hotel to make tea, coffee etc so have to buy it all for your stay.

Great location, parking very easy and quite cheap. Lovely flat, great sea views, very quiet too apart from the seagulls!

Location and the accommodation had everything you needed.

The lift was broken so had to carry buggy, kids and luggage up 4 flights of stairs, wasn't ideal

Excellent location, flat was clean and tidy, bathroom a bit tired.

lifts were broken and we were on the 3rd floor, having just had heard bypass it was a bit much climbing he stairs
