"Comfortable beds, great location top notch staff!"

We always stay at The Stanley, when travelling to the Isles of Scilly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Adequate parking outside if you’re lucky to get a spot!

Sad to see that they no longer serve breakfast here and that the room rate doesn’t reflect this, having stayed at the same price point. The bathrooms could do with a deep clean.

Great location for catching the Scillonian. Room was fairly small but fine for our needs; clean, and had a lovely sea view. The property doesn’t provide breakfast but has tea / coffee making facilities, and there are cafes/ pubs nearby.

Really superbly located little hotel - About a 12 min walk from the train station with a heavy case, and about a 10 min walk from the centre of the town. We were right on the front of the promenade, less than a minute from the Jubilee pool (and the bus stop there). The staff I spoke to in person and via message were both very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean and comfy and cosy. The shower was surprisingly excellent with great water pressure and temperature.

The hotel was clearly an old building with narrow stairways, slightly uneven floors and odd-shaped doors that let small drafts into our room and bathroom. The front downstairs lounge had a great view of the sea but we didn't really utilise it as it just felt very quiet down there. A bit of a wasted space perhaps? We stayed for 3 nights and didn't receive a change of towels, even though someone came in to make the beds on night 2. I'm sure we could have asked if we had needed but it just seemed a bit odd to make the beds but not change the obviously wet and used towels?
