Blue Door Apartments

The breakfast in the cafe next door was very good. I was in Newcastle for a conference at a Hotel and the Blue Door was a few minutes walk away. It was also convenient for local restaurants anf gor an evening walk along the Sea Front.

I had some difficulty opening the drop box. However, someone came quickly to help me when I rang the mobile number on the booking form. The staff in the cafe were helpful when I left the key back with them on checking out/

The apartment was lovely. Very modern and clean. Everything you needed for a short break. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was provided by the cafe under the apartments which was lovely.

The outside noise at night. We did stay on a Friday and Saturday so maybe quieter during the week. There was someone driving their car around the streets with a very noisy exhaust until 3am.....due to this I dud nit sleep much during our stay

Nothing really to complain about Cleanliness is very good 10/10

The apartment is modern, nicely furnished and very clean. The breakfasts in Shimna Cafe were excellent and the place itself is very attractive. Very central location.

There was only one fork in the cutlery drawer 😞

So difficult to find, but a very helpful gentleman went out of his way to help us and told us where to park the car , which was close by and free,noisy at night due to traffic, minor issues. Double bed and sofa bed entirely my fault brother and sister, no linen for sofa bed.

Clean, comfy beds,cozy. Breakfast fab and substantial! Staff in the cafe lovely.

Bit noisy in the morning in the front bedroom.

The apartment is beautiful and very spacious living room/dinning and kitchen. Nice bedroom and a large bathroom. Nicely decorated and very clean. Dana who is the host is just so likable and pleasant, made us very happy we had made the right choice of accommodation. She also has the Shimna cafe downstairs and her staff are just as friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful and menu was good. I have no hesitation in recommending her properties to family and friends. And we will definitely be booking again. The property is on the main street and the beach is behind the property. And plenty of woodland and mountain walks .
