The location was perfect and the apartment had everything we needed, the breakfast in the shimna cafe downstairs was delicious every morning with a good choice to suit everyone

Nothing will definitely be back and will recommend to family and friends

The apartment was lovely, very modern and in central Newcastle which was handy to just walk into town! The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable which was great! The TV also had access to WiFi and different streaming apps. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back :)

No kitchen roll, tea towels or cleaning spray which would be good to have in the kitchen area. Found the hob a little tricky to use. The door code wasn't emailed a few days prior as stated in instructions but appreciate I had accidentally paid the deposit a little late - staff were really great in getting this sorted for us however :)

The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. Breakfast in the morning was a big bonus and the Shimna cafe, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food tasted great. Great location, close to all facilities, near the sea and close by the bus depot where we took the Mourne Rambler service. Will definitely be back.

It was extremely noisy, the smoke alarms went off twice in one night and wouldn’t go off / no dishwasher/ bedroom very small for two people

We stayed at the Blue Door Apartment and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is well kept, clean, and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, perfect for exploring the area. The hospitality was outstanding – we truly felt at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a practical yet charming place to stay in Ireland.

We have stayed here before, only a different room good view onto the main street, the apartment is very modern and clean, so handy to the shops.

The shower was tricky to adjust, the bed was just okay, the breakfast was in the cafe next door, but it was a limited menu😞 Customers coming into the cafe got a different menu.

The apartment was lovely, spacious, modern and well presented. Handy location. Comfortable bed - apartments seemed to have all the facilities you would need. Breakfast in the morning was very good too and we all enjoyed it.

Unfortunately the kitchen bin under the sink was not emptied after previous occupants. I was woken by seagulls outside from about 3am in the morning which continued through. I actually got up thinking the window was open but they weren’t. There was also an alarm going off in the hallway during the night / morning which also woke me up- I got up and went to hall to see what it was but I have no idea what it was and it went on for a very very long time. It actually panicked me and I couldn’t settle after that. So not much sleep got. Apartments very hot in bedrooms and could have done with a fan.

We really enjoyed where the apartment is as it's just at the top of the centre. The apartment itself was a decent size for 2 adults and 1 child. It was very clean and we liked the shoe rack as you came in the door so we were able to take our shoes off before entering the apartment.
