The food was excellent. The hosts were very friendly. The place was clean and comfortable. We will stay there again.

"It’s an adventure to get here!"

It is an adventure to get there, make sure you have the right car, preferably 4 WD. Otherwice hosts are nice, it is a family house, Mikela speaks good English and is happy to share experiences and information.

Claudio will cook you dinner which is nice but the menu is simple and pricey for what you get.

"Peaceful place!!"

I was visiting Jarabacoa with a friend and just needed a place to stay overnight...We enjoyed the peaceful place, the nature...I would recommend it to someone who is looking for tranquility, disconnect from the city and at the same time enjoy nature. Apart from everything, the place is located about 15 - 20 minutes from the city of Jarabacoa... Excellent treatment from the owners of the place.

"Peaceful and felt like coming home to a loving family"

We had 4 meals with our amazing hosts and each one was perfect the owners are Italian and they provided delicious meals while working around food allergies. My wife and I enjoyed the spa service that our hosts provided. This bed and breakfast is located about 15-20 minutes from the center of jarabacoa

The only thing I would like is for the bed to be less firm but as this is a preference thing it doesn’t change the amazing home that mi hogar provided with wonderful fellowship and rich wonderful Italian cooking.

Not much privacy and because of the location you have to be there before the sun goes down. And it forces you to dine at the stay.

"Exceptional"

Mikela and Claudio were amazing hosts. Claudio came to help us with directing to their property as it is a real mountain way. We had delicious dinner and breakfast-delicious coffee btw! All together with pleasant time with the hosts and their cats.

"Exceptional"

The experience of staying in a mountain/forest environment was amazing. The property is excellence. Hostess/owners are exceptional. I really feel I was visiting a very good friends. They are exceptional cookers as well.

The access to the property is recommended to be done before sunset, because the road is really hard at times as you have to go up/down and around a mountain.

"This is a hidden gem in the beautiful mountains of Jarabacoa!!"

The hosts Michael & Claudia was the best! They cooked authentic Italian meals both nights I was there. The food was delicious, good portions and very tasty. The view of the mountains amazing. The place was also super clean. I remember that standing out. And Michael picked me up pronto from a long day out on the town in Jarabacao. This is a hidden gem; deep in the beautiful mountains of Jarabacoa!!
