Goldcrest Village Apartments University of Galway

Very centrally located, you can walk to town in 15-20 minutes. Very spacious, kitchen is very well equipped, we cooked a lot and enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean. All in all I would immediately come back. Surrounded by green, parks etc. , extremely nice campus.

Students coming home at 3 or 4 in the morning making noise. I solved the problem closing the window. Then very quiet.

Really clean - great ensuite bathroom - power shower.

Accommodation was very warm - too warm - radiators on in the middle of summer!

First of all, I wish I had lived in something like this when I was a student. Lucky people! Facilities are absolutely top notch, the kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything is spotless. Really basic rooms, but have everything you need. Very quiet, very modern. Amazing. The layout is a bit confusing, it has 5 small rooms in one block and a massive kitchen. If you have a reservation for 2 people, you'll be given 2 of those rooms. We used one and were drying our wetsuits in the second bathroom. Can confirm, their ventilation is great, I never get them so dry so quickly :) We used a shoe as a door stopper not to deal with cards to go in and out of the kitchen. There is plenty of parking, so that was great too. Location-wise it was great for us, city centre is close enough, and it is an easy way out of Galway as well to go and see places. It is funny that the closest store sells primarily booze. I wonder why.

Ventilation is great, but it does not stop overnight. if you are a light sleeper - keep this in mind. Beds are small-ish for 2 people. We are very tall, so if you are like us, just expect this. It was a bit confusing to find the right reception and the right place to park. It is probably of my own doing, because I had no idea in what part I am staying (check the reservation the next time...). However, staff was so nice and supportive, they checked where we are and guided us the right way.

Overall the apartments were fantastic and worked really well as there was several of us staying for a family event. The staff were so helpful. Everyone had their own room which was great

Apartment was really good, we loved the common spaces and the privacy of our own individual rooms and bathrooms, beds were really comfy and the person in reception was super nice and helpful. Kitchen was fully equipped which we really appreciated it

Everything was great! Maybe the kitchen and bedroom floors had a bit of dust but just a tiny little bit, nothing too remarkable
