The room & breakfast were ok considering the price we paid.

The intransparancy regarding prices of what you consume on the spot: - we paid 30€ pp for 1 spritz, 1 beer, a simple pasta carbonara and some sandwiches - as much as we paid pp in what is according to the owners the most expensive resto in town (for a 3 course dinner & wine) - we paid twice 50€ for a taxi ride of 20min - although we appreciated that he offered the service he could have been transparent with the price, as 50€ is a lot (as reference, friends paid 100€ for a taxi to Bari) Also the hotel is used as a bar/ party spot considering they have a large pool, so a lot of people come and hang out/ drink. It didn't matter to us since we were coming back from a wedding around 2AM when the last guests were leaving, but the music was loud so not for people that want to relax at the hotel.

Relais D'Iria is run by the most charming, friendly and helpful couple, Fabiola and Alessandro. Their extended family are equally as helpful. No request was to large and they made sure all our needs where met at the hotel including an early breakfast when we checked out, as well as recommending and booking us excellent restaurants in the nearby towns. The hotel boasts an amazing pool too, it's huge and it's perfectly located for exploring the surrounding towns, the closest being Grotteglie which was a surprise hit and we loved shopping for ceramics there, as well as the more well known e.g. Ostuni.

Nothing, Fabiola and Alessandro went above and beyond to ensure we had a brilliant trip, our first with our 3.5 month old baby.
