Wonderloft Hostel Jogja

Great location and very central to everything! Also free breakfast

Unfortunately my bed had bed bugs:( I told the staff and they offered me a private room for no other cost, but they didn’t seem too surprised about the bed bugs unfortunately — and after speaking with them I learned this was not the first time there was an issue in the hostel, and it seemed like not much action was happening about the issue. If this wasn’t an issue then the hostel would have been great, but due to this I left before spending a night there.

Very central and could rent a bike. I loved my time with Osy, she's just an amazing person. Almost only dutch people, cauz this hostel is recommended on a Whatsapp chat made for dutch people. So not really a big mix and not easy to get to know new people.

The room next to me had bed bugs which made me feel uncomfortable and i think the hostel could be better arranged. Need a refresh in the bathroom/toilets.

Die Lage ist wirklich top – sehr zentral, in einer Strasse mit vielen Antik-/Batikläden und viele verschiedene Restaurants sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Ideal, um Jogja zu erkunden und auch andere Reisende kennenzulernen. Leckeres Frühstück.

Leider gab es in unserem Zimmer ein Problem mit Bettwanzen. Die Kommunikation darüber wirkte nicht ganz transparent, und es scheint, als wäre das Thema im Hostel bereits länger bekannt und es wird nicht genug effektiv dagegen vorgegangen. Aber man bot uns eine Rückerstattung für die betroffene Nacht bzw. einen Zimmerwechsel an sowie auch, die Kleidung zu waschen - das war positiv.

Super Atmosphäre + großer Aufenthaltsbereich, wo man sehr gut Leute kennenlernen kann. Freundliches Personal, mehrere Touren im Angebot, Hot Tub, gute Badezimmer, Bier im Kühlschrank

Zimmer war etwas eng (8er-Dorm)

2 comfy pillows and blanket, electric plug with 2 USB-A ports. Big towel for free. Soap and shampoo available in each shower. Clean room, shower and toilet. Bidet on every toilet. Spacious shower. Free refill of water. Snacks and soft drinks available to buy. Friendly staff available 24 hours. lockable storage big enough for a 60L carrier. They don't have bike parking area but allowed me to store my folding bike inside the office.

Shower and toilet can be pretty warm although exhaust fan is installed. Storage area is in the corridor and without numbers.
