Great location, friendly staff, great value

This was definitely the best place to stay when I travelled to Japan this year. I stayed there already about three months ago for 6 days and there are several days per week now I remember my stay at Body Balance House with warm feelings. For me everything was perfect: my room, the terraces, the kitchen. It feels a bit like staying with housemates, like home. I don't need every day cleaning, I do like old houses, so this was like home, too ;-)

The bicycles didn't work at that moment, but you can rent cheap ones in the area

The house was located at the heart of Miyako-shi and we were provided with all we needed (umbrellas, towels and even after-care cream for my sunburn!) I would highly recommend it, the staff was very kind and helpful.

Cozy little house, the staff lady is adorable and speaks English well. The accomodation is easy to find. However if you have big and heavy luggage like me (20kg ), you're gonna have to carry it for a couple of laters down and up (stairs) to the house.

Its a cool old house that gives more vibes like a homestay than a modern hotel and it gave me more feeling of adventure. The woman who is taking care of the house was super nice and good to talk to and to see the stars from the roof was beautyful. Location is good just a 2-3 min walk to the street with the restaurant and bars. I slept well in my bed and the aircon was good.

It would be good to add and increase lighting on the path outside the house. It can be hard to navigate after dark. There are lights but more would be good.

사장님 잘쉬고 갑니다. 숙소는 혼자 쉬기 참좋았습니다. 뭔가 아지트같은 숙소에요 첫날 숙소를 찾느라 힘들었습니다. 풀숲에 숨어져있어서 안내표지판을 좀 크게 만들면 좋을거 같아요. 방에 에어컨도 잘 작동되고 좋았습니다. 부엌에 진짜 에어컨좀 달아주세요 진심 너무 더웠습니다. 저는 다음에도 또 이용하러 가겠습니다.

The owner and the girl living in the house are wonderful people. I loved to spend time with them. They are funny, super nice and very helpful. I had such a great time with them and hope to be back one day. The house is old, but very cozy. My room was big, clean and had everything I needed. The bathroom was also clean and provided everything that was needed.
