This is not your normal guest house. The three rooms with balconies are nothing short of palatial and luxurious. Herman is the perfect host, from showing you round to booking taxis and restaurants he is simply brilliant. There is a very well stocked honesty bar and snacks, and if you give him enough notice, he will make sure your favourite tipple is waiting for you with ice from the ice maker which is something to look forward to at the end of a busy day travelling or sightseeing. The view from the balconies is superb, so bring your binoculars to view the marine and bird life. You can sit there for hours with a morning tea or coffee just taking it all in. Perfect.

Herman is another great host we met during our SA trip. He gave us a surprise by upgraded our room to the master suite within the house after he learnt that we are coming for our honeymoon! We got a unblocked sea harbor view and a jet bathtub! check in is super flexible as well. He even recommended a nice dinner place and place a reservation for us too! We regretted for staying just 1 night in Mossel bay! Definitely will return to Herman's place in future!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a very nice view. The location was great and comfortable. We also received very helpful explanations about the surroundings, and the communication before and during our stay was very friendly, with lots of useful tips.

Die Lage mit Blick auf den Hafen und die Stadt ist traumhaft. Wir haben morgens auf dem Balkon gefrühstückt und dabei die Aussicht genossen. Unser Gastgeber hat uns am Abend sehr gute Tipps für Restaurants in der Stadt gegeben.
Das Bad war nicht so schön.
