El Jardín del Ángel Lavapies

The location was great. The apartment's rooms were good for our group. The dining room was spacious. Oven needs attention, lacking utensils and other kitchen necessities. Overall, it is a very good and relaxing stay.

The location is perfect to city center and very close to metro station Lavapies. This makes all the convenience for all of us. Shops around and close to everything we need. The owner and staff monitored us until we arrived at the apartment. Aircon works well. Good kitchen we did some cooking. Thank you!

Apartment is not sound-proof. We can hear the neighbor from next apartment.

The manager who did our check-in, was super nice and helpful. One of our guests arrived earlier, and he did all he could to have the flat ready before we arrived, even though we were outside the check-in time. We appreciate it a lot, so thank you! The apartment was spacious for our group of five people. The location was good, close to almost everything, with a 24-hour Carrefour on the corner. The AC was definitely the star of the stay, saving us from the heat.

The old windows let in a lot of noise from the street, which was not nice when trying to sleep. Overall, the flat was clean, but the kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Additionally, the smoker neighbors prevented us from opening the windows without the place smelling like tobacco. In the room I stayed in, there wasn’t an extra blanket, which I missed a few times during the night. The description mentioned free toiletries, so I was expecting shampoo and shower gel in addition to toilet paper, a hair dryer, hand soap, and 2 hand towels and 1 body towel per person. You might want to pack these extras in your suitcase.

We had a very bad experience and the owner should refund us. The 2 bathrooms had water drainage problems whenever we use the toilet or shower. (sewage problem). The apartment almost flooded with water and dirty water and we stayed hours cleaning and dealing with it until the morning of the other day. The neighbors downstairs were shouting at us because the dirty water was also flooding on them! Only then we contacted the owner who came and he apologized only! We don’t recommend it to anyone to stay in and I personally feel so bad having put my family under this pressure when we had to leave to the airport. Moreover, the kitchen is old with its stuff. I would never ever book it again. I ask booking.com to refund our money. Refunding our money would be the only compensation. We have videos of the water and dirt which I can share it with you.
