Proximity to village

Draconian written rules about cleaning. Some unclean dishes in draws. Fact that the bedside light did not reach the plug. Grotty pillows in wardrobe The booking staff, HHH when I booked were inefficient, unhelpful and verging on rude

location was good, separate downstairs master bedroom and bathroom. dry handy

Didn’t appreciate all the signs telling us to clean thoroughly even though we paid for a cleaner. Also signs calling us thieves if we took the fire wood, which of course we wouldn’t and didn’t. Only two of the four single beds had electric blankets. Upstairs balcony rotten so could not use. Absolutely no pantry items available, no coffee or tea or sugar. Did not feel welcome as we had in previous accommodation around New Zealand.
