"A Deep Clean Is Long Overdue - Better Get A Travelodge"

The double bed was comfortable. The power in the bathroom shower was good but you have to hold it. Key instructions very clear.

The cleanliness was truly awful. I have never stayed anywhere like it. We mentioned it to the owner on our return however she said that we should have contacted her as they always have someone on emergency call? Basic cleanliness is not an emergency nor did we want people cleaning around us. This should all have been done ready for arrival however clearly hadn't been done for weeks (to be honest I think much longer). We had planned on spending the first evening in the apartment but didn't feel clean so went out which cost us extra than we had planned. The king size mattress is incredibly uncomfortable. Didn't like having to strip beds before we left either. Surely that should be included? Half used toiletries left in shower and shower in ensuite very low power.
