Incredible place, celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary & the staff went over and above. Our room was amazing with separate seating area. All the staff were first class, Coco wine tour and tasting just perfect. We will be back,

Nothing to not like it’s amazing

Stunning property very close to San Gimignano. Spotless facility with grounds that are very well kept. We loved the location as it was within an hours drive to most places we wanted to visit during our stay. Food and wine are great too as well as the sparkling pool!

Just a suggestion as we are earlier risers is to have coffee and maybe a few pastry available before 8:30 breakfast time. While you can make instant coffee in your room we would have enjoyed a nice cup of espresso or cappuccino when we woke while enjoying the scenery. We were up and out early most days.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were so modern on the inside and so comfy, big nice bathrooms and shower. The views were stunning! The food was excellent as was the service.

The pool is beautiful and definitely the highlight of the property. The room was clean & the bathroom was very nice, grounds are beautiful also.

The communication was difficult. I didn’t know you could order food or drinks from WhatsApp to have during our stay. I thought you could only dine for dinner at the restaurant. There was a QR code to scan in the room with maybe more info but ours didn’t link to anything. The staff weren’t the most friendly either, but that could also be because of the language barrier. Booking.com said checkout was between 8-10am. We waited until 8am but couldn’t find any staff, we ended up finding someone who called the boss or manager who was still at home. She said to me why didn’t I message them on WhatsApp to say we were checking out at 8am and I said I didn’t think I had to/didn’t know that was the expectation because it wasn’t communicated so I followed the booking.com info. There was also other peoples food & drink added to our bill so that had to be taken off. For the amount we paid I was let down

Too small for us

We had such a great time at Locanda. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The rooms were luxurious and spacious. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the wine from the vineyard was really good. Highly recommend doing a tasting while there. We loved our stay at Locanda and we hope to go back one day.
