Central Station and City Rooms Link "13 Apartment" Amalfi Coast , Salerno

The apartment is very close to the city center, about 1km walking distance to the port. The room, bathroom and kitchen are well equipped. Three of us have a double bed and a single bed. There is a hair dryer and a washing machine in the bathroom. The owner is very friendly and will provide instructions on how to self-check in & check out and get the apartment key (you need to use 4 keys to enter the apartment) via phone and text messages. The parking lot near by the apartment costs €13 from 19:00 to 10:00 next morning..

The sheets on the single bed are used and have some wrinkles, dirt and hair on it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It has everything you need to be comfortable. Location is really good, you can walk to get anywhere (train, bus, grocery, ferry, center). The wifi was very fast, the kitchen was well equipped, there was coffee, tea, and basics for cooking (salt, pepper, oil). AC, Smart Tv. There is a fruit store just beside, otherwise you have a few grocery store all walking distance. The apartment was clean and the host was responsive. We found the price reflecting the quality of the accommodation. We recommend and would stay there again if needed.

Sometimes the shower temperature is a bit unstable, neighbours could be a bit noisy (but it's in an apartment building so you have to expect it to hear others a bit), but not a big deal.

Washing machine. Walking distance to ferries and train station. Clean.

Need to block light from kitchen window since the door between kitchen and bedroom is translucent. Fitted sheet on bed kept coming off.

The apartment is perfectly located. Just 10 to 15 min walk to the port where the daily cruises to visit the Amalfi coast depart and 10 min walk to the main street of Salerno. Everything was provided, including washing powder. Very well equipped appartment.

I guess the location. BUT the "get directions" for the site takes you to the opposite end of the road in stead of no. 13 it takes you to no 1 unit 3. Not the fault of the accommodation but Google maps. The accommodation advertises a living room well not what we call a living room. There is a single bed in the entry hall that leads to the bathroom with a curtain going into the double bedroom which leads to the kitchen. There are 2 windows 1 in bathroom 1 in kitchen which is high on wall and both are frosted glass. There are French doors to a very small patio balcony. The view is straight into apartments opposite so no view as such. There is a sensor light in the entrance door which would be annoying if you slept in the single bed. It would go off moving next to double bed in bedroom.. There is a camera at the entrance to the apartment, it felt like we were being watched each time we came and went from the apartment. No physical contact with host and no info given on the area restaurants bars etc. There was no drain plug for the kitchen sink when we arrived. When we asked for one we were told to pay the city tax and they would get a plug. Normally for all the accommodation we have stayed in the tax was paid without a ransom.

This apartment is extremely well equipped.and has everying you would need for a short or long stay . Host has obviously taken on board previous comments as there is plenty tea and coffee and the essential toiletries including a couple of toothbrushes in the packet. There was a couple of beers in the fridge which were appreciated but no bottles of water. ( we left one for the next guests) . Its very central, everything can be reached by a 5/10 minute walk going through an underpass which is very safe. Clean but not pristine . Toilet and kitchen fairly modern, small balcony with washing line to hang out your clothes italian style. it's good value for money .

The third single bed is actually in the hallway which you need to pass through to go to the loo from main bedroom or kitchen . You could hear a noisy neighbour occasionally through the hallway wall so wouldn't fancy sleeping there however if price is your main concern might be an option if there are 3 of you .
