Hacienda La Dehesa (Only Adults)

If you would like a quiet retreat away from the busy tourist areas then this is for you but you definitely need a car as it quite out of the way. The host communicated quickly over WhatsApp (have google translate to hand), check in information was super easy to find on a table when we arrived, there is designated parking for your apartment, the view from the breakfast terrace over the bananas to the sea was amazing, the continental breakfast was really good (charcuterie, bread, pastries, fruit, juice and tea/coffee). The apartment itself was spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Only downsides for us was that we do like meeting new people/our hosts but we didn’t have a single interaction with anyone that worked there over 4 nights, and there were two hot tubs but one didn’t go above 35C and the other wasn’t very clean likely because everyone was using it.

Tolle Lage im Nirgendwo (fußläufig in die Stadt ca. 15 Minuten). Es gab eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung. Schöne Aussicht aufs Meer über die Bananenplantage, im Hinterland das Teno Gebirge. Sauna top, bei eher kühlem Wetter. Küchenausstattung ausreichend.

Reservamos este hotel para tener un retiro de la rutina y un poco de tranquilidad y fue justo lo que encontramos: un sitio donde descansar y relajarse fuera del barullo de la ciudad. La piscina es pequeñita pero viene genial para refrescarse. Las habitaciones son super grandes y espaciosas.

Toas oli natuke liiga väike teler, aga muidu ikkagi kõik vajalikud asjad olid olemas, ka lisapleed kapis. Kaheinimese voodi võiks olla suurem, aga saab olemasolevaga ka hakkama.

The beautiful location and view. The bigger and nicer than expected family room (which was a whole 2 bedroom flat) Near to the lovely sleepy town of Buenavista (steep climb on a little path, if on foot) Good base for walking, getting the bus to Punta de Teno and the rugged coast, with some beautiful pools.

Breakfast was taken on a stunning terrace, "but" we were a bit surprised by the lack of local produce (cheese, ham,...) and no eggs, vegetables, or cereal. But the bread was fresh, some nice little pastries/cake and a yoghurt pot every day (with a little cereal). And on our last day, we received an enormous and very nice takeaway breakfast.
