Amani Boutique Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World

I spent the New Year holidays with my partner on the beautiful island of Zanzibar. We chose the Amani Boutique Hotel for our stay, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The hotel is a small and cozy property overlooking the stunning white beach of Paje. It is impeccably maintained, well-appointed, and offers every comfort you could wish for. With only 14 rooms, the Amani is an adults-only boutique hotel, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. From the beginning to the end of our stay, we were pampered by the staff. The team is made up of wonderful, kind, and attentive people who made us feel at home. The cuisine was outstanding, with dishes varying daily based on the availability of fresh ingredients. si tratta di un piccolo hotel adults only con poche camere. Ottimo il personale che si è sempre dimostrato disponibile e gentile. Il servizio ristorazione più che dignitoso considerato che siamo a Zanzibar. Abbiamo apprezzato il servizio al tavolo e l'atmosfera. Unica pecca la mancanza di un servizio di cortesia per chi come noi l'ultimo giorno aveva il volo la sera e non era possibile il late check out.

Um lugar inclivel com uma piscina linda e o quarto muito confortavel. A comida tambem e muito boa somente casal.

Lovely small boutique hotel directly on the beach . Tranquil and beautiful setting. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful . The restaurant was run very efficiently by Robert and I must acknowledge how good Josephine and Alex were . Our hotel room was lovely and decor of the whole hotel was calming . Only 14 rooms and adults only makes this the perfect hotel to It was a relax and enjoy Zanzibar .

Great boutique hotel. If you’re looking for a place to relax, that’s the place. Everything is thought out in great detail. The food is also amazing! The location is great if you want to chill and have a relaxed vacation. If you’re looking to explore Paje city center it might be a bit far away but they will work in gather you a transfer. Definitely recommended and I’m sure i’ll be back in Amani!

Lovely staff. Hyper clean. Great turn down service. Elegant designed hotel. Decent sized rooms with nice facilities and good showers. Water provided every day. Attentive staff.

Noise! The hotel is small so if there is noise, it is difficult to avoid. Noise sources were especially from the huge plot next door in which a new hotel is going up. Plus noise from TV or phones from staff and the kite place sandwiched between the hotel and the building site. Plus also some noise from the road. Plus also noise from air conditioning units. It is a great pity because otherwise the hotel is very peaceful, or should be. One could ignore or overlook most or all of this in a an ordinary hotel. But this bills itself as a luxury small hotel with prices to match. So it stands out rather. The other issue is that ocean swimming is only feasible twice a day at high tide. Then it is lovely, especially at sunrise. Otherwise water is too shallow, muddy and full of seaweed. The beach is very long and lovely. But full of beach boys who are a bit of a nuisance.

Everything was just - WOW. No words can describe the feeling when we arrived - and it lasted the entire trip. Thank you so much Robert, Elisabeth and all friendly staff for making this trip to something extra. We will come back!

Loved everything, staff especially just getting it right!

A truly wonderful hotel that stands out for its friendly family feel customer service and its variety and standard of food that has so many choices for vegetarians during the 4 course meal every night. The rooms are tastefully decorated with good aircon and mosquito nets for the bed. The pool and sunbeds are well spaced and quiet and there are paddle boards to use in the sea. The treatments at the spa are varied and delivered brilliantly for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this adults only hotel if you’re looking for peace and tranquility with an outstanding focus on you as the guest
