Panglao Sea Resort - Tangnan

We truly enjoyed our stay at the property. The staff was exceptionally attentive to all our needs, consistently ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. The location was beautifully private, offering a serene and peaceful ambiance. We especially loved spending time at the front beach, soaking in the breathtaking views that made our stay even more memorable. However, we did experience an issue with the air conditioning on our second day, which unfortunately wasn’t resolved during our stay. It seemed that the maintenance team was quite busy, so instead of repairing the unit, they provided us with an electric fan. While the fan helped to some extent, it didn’t quite compensate for the lack of air conditioning. Nonetheless, the overall experience was pleasant, and we appreciate the efforts of the staff.

It's away from the main street, so it's quiet and comes to peace. It's healing just by looking at the sea. I arrived at night and didn't know the view around the hotel, but I screamed at the ocean view that was full of veranda doors in the morning. It's about 20 to 30 steps and it's the sea. It's incredibly close to the ocean. (It's the ocean without a beach.)The staff showed the fare table honestly and calculated it, so it was reliable. As with other hotels, I don't pay every time, I pay at once when I check out. Even though the flight was delayed for an hour and 40 minutes, he came out to greet me with my name correctly. I was touched by the quiet and kind service. I want to go again next time

Excellent facilities, great food and loved watching the sunsets, the pool was great and so was snorkelling out the front.

Location was a bit out of the way, and trikes were very expensive when booked at reception, better off walking to the main road and grabbing one there, as they were half the price but most people staying here probably wouldn't bother. Cheaper hiring a motorbike.

Enjoyed our 4 night stay in this resort in early July. I booked 2 rooms for my family. The 2 bdrm penthouse (top floor) was spacious and equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and stove. There is a large patio and a laundry line which is useful. They also provide purified water. The Seaview was beautiful, and my husband snorkeled on our last day. There is no elevator so it is important to know this before booking. The landscape with the pool & grotto were well maintained. It’s rainy season so it was overcast most afternoon. The resort’s location is remote so it was great to there is a restaurant. We went to Alona for our diving & it was 15-20 min ride. We ate breakfast and some dinners here. The staff were very nice, respectful, helpful, and friendly. We met the owner and he was friendly. The bar had happy hour offers. It is great that we can use our credit cards without service fee. On Sunday night, there is live music and the singers were very good. The only thing was that there were small ants in the kitchen so don’t leave any open food out.
