The view from the garden is spectacular. We enjoyed the sea view so much every day. We loved how spatious and roomy this accommodation was. The kids had a really good time playing in the garden. Kitchen and bedrooms are very comfy and inviting. There are lots of helpful and well working appliances, which makes family life very easy. Also the location was perfect for us. You do need a car for everything but we liked being able to go to West Bay, Bridport, Lyme Regis and Weymouth whenever we wanted.

Bathroom fabrics need to be replaced and the sinks are too small and low down for an adult of average height.

"Lovely Easter break, very quiet, in need of bathroom modernisation - but it is functional"

8.0

We had a great time - if the rest of Mimosa cottage (bathrooms) were as modern as the kitchen and lounge it's be exceptional! We loved The Manor (pub/restaurant) down the road and being able to walk our dog up the knowl hill. We loved how quiet the location was. The check-out could be a tad later (10am) as the check-in isn't until 5pm - but I'm sure the owners have come to the best compromise, there's always a reason behind decisions like this (getting cleaners etc). We loved it and would return but noticed that our same dates (first Thurs of April til the following Tuesday AM is now £856 and we paid £591 + £20 for our dog - it really seems the cost of living has hit, that's a price hike).

The shower hose needs repaired as it leaks. The key safe also doesn't work as the Mimosa key is too big to stay in anf for the key safe to close. We had a power cut on Sunday night (Easter Sunday) - the whole area did! We had our own torch and iPhones. It said there was a torch in the kitchen drawer, but we didn't see one. Also finding the 'ON' switch for the dishwasher wasn't obvious - but we found it in the end.
