Natura cottages

Natura is full of character and charm. It is a beautiful group of buildings that provide an authentic feel of Greece. This is not typical homogenised "euro-glop" accommodation. The outside spaces were also delightful and provided an oasis of calm. It is set in a beautiful rural setting with a lovely 15-20 minute walk to the harbour area.

Peace, silence, nature around, our own green terrace and all facilities.

Unique, quirky and picturesque location. Cottages look much nicer than the photos. We only stayed one night but if you’re looking for a tranquil, slightly remote and quiet location then it is perfect.Cottages are equipped with everything you might need for any length of stay.

We arrived by car but a walk to restaurants etc. might be a bit tricky at night.

Location was peaceful and rural and away from touristy Makrygialos. Perfect for walking or driving to quieter beaches. Interiors were simple, interesting (arty) and traditional. Really appreciated having the bedding changed and room cleaned every few days.

Hot water kept turning off and bathroom door doesn’t close properly but these are only via minor and didn’t really effect our stay.

For my wife and me, this trip was a sort of honeymoon since we had just gotten married a month ago. After a year and a half of challenges and a super busy life, we were eager to disconnect from the entire world, relax and recharge at Natura Cottages. I'm happy to say that our experience exceeded our expectations, we couldn't be more satisfied with our stay. The cottage was exactly as pictured, and we instantly fell in love with the place. It’s evident that the owners of Natura Cottages love their properties, as every detail was thoughtfully attended to. Our cottage beautifully combined coziness with traditional Greek style. We especially enjoyed the small private garden where we had breakfast each morning in the shade before heading out to explore a new beach. At night, we returned to a perfect silence, broken only by the sounds of crickets. Yet, we were just a five-minute drive from the town of Makri Gialos, with its seaside bars and restaurants. This part of the island is wonderfully natural and less touristy, perfect if you want to run away from the madness of the modern world! We explored several beaches by car, some recommended by Natura Cottages’ website and others I found through my own research. We were particularly enchanted by Paralia Goudouras, a peaceful spot with crystal-clear water. It has been a very positive experience and we really recommend this cottage!

Immersed in nature, nice as an experience, easy to find following the instructions, nice location, the room was clean.

In general its a nice and interesting place to stay but I think your experience depends from the room you will get to have. We - chose - to have a small room but the low ceiling made it feel a bit strange to be in there. We met however some other people that had a bigger room with two separate spaces and a high ceiling; and it looked really nice! That is to say that if I could turn back time I would have booked a bigger room. Finally I think that if you decide to go there you should be really a type of person that likes to be in nature; If you like to be in nature but at the same time you like luxury places I think you would struggle.
