Penguins View Guesthouse

Exceptional :-) Heather allowed us to drop our luggage off early allowing us another full day in this spectacular location. Being 'local' to the penguins, and being able to do early morning and evening walks along the boardwalk was a magical experience. The honeymoon suite was everything we hoped - well equipped, spacious, comfortable, but the balcony with penguin views and full length windows allowing uninterrupted side to side views topped our stay off. Heather also recommended a local guide (Anna-Marie) who we pre-booked and then spent an incredible day with on a custom guided tour around the cape and beyond. A truly magical stay. Our stay at Penguin Guest House was exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and comfortable. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to see the penguins, and the beach was visible right from our window. The highlight of our stay was waking up to the sunrise on the balcony. Highly recommend this place.

Nothing to dislike, great position to see the penguins which was why we were in Simon's Town, but the Baboons wander the town on an evening great fun. Beautiful apartment with the most amazing view across the bay, a way out of town so we had to drive in but found a shopping area a short way out of town, stocked up and spent most evenings on the balcony just admiring the views. We were minutes from the boardwalk and there are more penguins there than the viewing area with the droves of tourists. An easy drive down to the cape of good hope where you can see Ostriches.
