Lavender Lodge

Immaculate and finished to a very high standard. The hosts were lovely and they leave a lovely breakfast selection to enjoy. We went to Goodwood and the location was excellent. Very high quality towels, bed and little touches.

Nothing it’s all perfect

The lavender lodge is beautifully designed, very modern and clean. It feels like home right away. There is everything you need in the kitchen, from all the appliances to groceries for a delicious breakfast. The hosts are very friendly. We had a wonderful time and can recommend a stay any time!

Tastefully decorated and furnished. Very clean and really well equipped. Very well provided for with breakfast items. Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely spot to sit out in if the weather allows.

Very clean. Very comfortable. Felt luxurious. And the stocked up fridge and cupboards were very welcome.

Guest garden isn’t attached to the lodge, its entrance is on the other side of the garden but you are given your own key for access which was nice.

Lavender Lodge was absolutely wonderful. Beautifully kept, with not only the essentials but extra bonuses and treats. The lodge was cosy and perfect for two. Glen and Sandra really went the extra mile, and the garden was gorgeous. There is so much to do locally, with Arundel 2 minutes up the road and Brighton and Portsmouth less than an hour away, but the location was peacful, relaxing and private: an english country dream. Glen even went to extra effort of finding us somewhere more local and better for fossil hunting. Their message when we arrived home was so kind and thoughful. Our only problem was that we didn't book more nights! We will definitly being booking a stay for the summer.

Private, clean, perfectly appointed, no details left out. The space is great for two people. Having the kitchen was great, especially since the hosts stocked it with essentials. Plus having access to the beautiful flower garden is a great bonus. It is in a quaint little village with a very nice restaurant The George nearby. A visit to nearby Arundel (5 minute drive) to see the castle and visit the shops is a must.

We liked everything!!

We liked several things. 1. The unit is self contained with a little cooking and eating area. 2. There was laundry facilities on site 3. The hosts were fantastic. They were so generous in getting the place ready for us and there was even a bottle of bubbly there in celebration of our wedding anniversary. 4. The setting was perfect for us - quiet and very serene. 5. Bathroom was perfect 6. The kitchenette was perfect. 7. Enjoyed the skylight 8. Liked the books that were provided talking about the history of the area. 9. Warm and friendly hosts and neighbours, and taxi drivers. So many more reasons to come back and stay a little longer.

The apartment was extremely clean and our hosts had thought of every possible thing we could need or want. Would most definitely recommend . Great hosts, very friendly and helpful, lovely location close to Arundel with plenty to do in and around the area. Recommend the boat trip, such fun. Big thumbs up from us TX
