"Characterful old cottage with an excellent location."

9.0

Full of character and an excellent location- quiet yet a stones throw from the high street. Nice to have the garden to sit in at the end of the day.

"Pleasant"

6.0

Excellent location - attending a famly funeral around the corner, great dog friendly garden. comfortable beds. Quaint cottage but not a great fit for a family including three 6ft men

Disappointed in the damp and musty smelll in the sitting room. Aware a roof leak was being fixed while we were there but this seemed to be a longstanding problem - condensation inside windows. Expensive stay for the experience

"Great location "

10.0

We had such a wonderful break. Location is amazing just off the high street and within walking distance to two amazing pubs- the angel and the lamb. Lots of shops close by and a lovely garden to chill out in. Small but perfectly formed

"Lovely experience"

9.0

Location is perfect, easy parking, just a lovely space.

With elderly parents in tow both staircases were a little scary.

"It is the full on cottage experience old style."

7.0

The central location allowed you to really get to know Burford. The host had been very thoughtful and left some milk in the fridge for us and it was nice to have a cup of tea on arrival. You have your own little garden space and the dining area was lovely for sitting in to have a nice dinner.

For me personally it felt like it was time for a refit, the stone floors and rugs needed some tender loving care and all the different heating system took a while to heat the cottage and work out. The main thing that worried me was all the different level of floors getting from the bedroom to the bathroom along a narrow hallway with the stairs just inches away. Some better lighting in the kitchen would also help when cooking.
