Skye Eyrie

Panorama was absolutely amazing and relaxing. The kitchen has everything that you need! Amazing that you rent one house and you really have two! At the end… it’s a place to be !

Wi-Fi was not really the best

The location was fabulous - amazing views and centrally located on the Trotternish Peninsula among the main tourist and hiking sites. The design of the buildings was comfortable and modern and well appointed. Worth every penny.

The location had amazing views. The home was finished to a very high standard. Very comfortable.

Would have liked more comfortable outside furniture the wooden bench seat was not conducive to sitting outside for long.

Excellent location on Sky with beautiful views. Very nicely decorated. Lovely little wood burning stove. The entire property is fenced in so you can let the dog out in the garden without risking escape (unless your dog can jump quite high). There are only a few properties on this path along the hill so it is nice and quiet. Beautiful dark starry skies at night. We did not realise the second bedroom (and second bathroom) are in a separate smaller building to the side (on the same location). From the pictures we thought that was a different property, rented seperately. So you have completely on the property.

No major issues. It's expensive but given the location and quality probably reasonable. We only missed a separate loose shower head in both the rainshower and the bath.

The location was close to all the beautiful places on the Trotternish Peninsula. We we loved being able to wake up to the sunrise in front of us and watch the changing landscape. It was special.

Very cute property, beautiful vistas, peaceful. The sheep next door were fun to watch, and the sofas comfortable. Everything that was needed was in the kitchen.

A portable fan would have been nice for sleeping (maybe keep in the closet). The windows just didn’t open enough for air to circulate. The washer/dryer combo was dreadful and ended up leaving the property with wet clothes on the day of departure.

Fantastic holiday home, lovely design, well equipped and super comfortable. Clean design, functional and beautiful.

Loved everything- only suggestion- maybe only thing would be a hand shower for the main bathroom and a magnifying mirror.

We are so glad we chose to stay here. Our two night stay was amazing. The lodge has everything you need and more! The wood burning stove made our evening super cosy. The views are exceptional, it felt so peaceful surrounded by the hills and sheep. We are already looking to come back to enjoy Skye in summer too

The WiFi was a little slow but we totally understand that considering how remote the lodge is.
