Vuyani River Lodge

Everything is just amazing. The staff is incredible and they are always there to help with anything. The food is incredible and they do the best they can to show you the animals. We had such a wonderful time there and I can’t wait to be back. The hotel idea is to make you feel like you’re traveling with your friends because you will have all meals in a big table where you are able to interact and know all the guests. It was amazing for us and hopefully we will see them again as well

Everything was exceptional - the staff were amazing, the lodges were comfortable, the food was incredible. We saw so many animals on the game drives and the staff really made every guest feel special and valued. Couldn’t fault it and absolutely would not hesitate to stay again.

Only having an outdoor shower was a bit limiting when it was too cold and dark to shower in the evenings. But this was still a pretty unique thing and is a very minor inconvenience. Everything was truly exceptional.

Limited drinks Options – some work to be done on the drinks menu. No cocktails , champagne or mimosa in the morning. The staff kept on saying they don't really get local visitors so we are not really catered for.

Vuyani was an amazing experience! Great location, facilities, and service, but what really made our stay 5-star was the staff. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They made us feel very welcome and super pampered. The food was great and homecooked that you can feel the love they put into cooking, everything was super clean, and they tried to accommodate any special requests we had. The reservation also came with two game drives every day, and our guide and tracker, David and Derek, were amazing! Super awesome guys, so nice, informative, and professional. They found us the big 5 and more! Even things we didn't expect we'd be lucky enough to see, they really tried to give us the best experience. Additionally, an elephant and many other animals came to visit the lodge while we were there, it was so cool to see them up close and relaxed in their own natural habitat. So happy we chose Vuyani for our first Safari experience.
