The Boardwalk

Amazing modern apartment with lovely harbour views, the most lovely welcome pack from the hosts and an excellent base to explore the Jurassic coast. I would really recommend this apartment and it worked very well for our young children

Angela our host has already started working with the council to resolve this, but the business over the road (Street Food Corner) was blasting music and entertaining very drunk patrons on a Wednesday night, after closing hours, even though they only have a license until 10. I had to go down to ask them to turn the music down and stop shouting, where I was verbally abused by patrons and the owner lied and said they had a license until midnight. However, after speaking with Angela on the phone this did not happen again during our stay. The harbour tends to be quiet after around 8pm so that was unusual, but the aggressiveness did really upset me!

Views over the harbour were amazing. The location is central to all amenities. Short walk to the beach.

Great location. Apartment is very well stocked and comfortable. Owner was very helpful when we arrived and couldn’t work out how to get in (as I hadn’t printed off the directions hence didn’t have the code for the gate. Good parking.

The internet was painfully slow. The double bed was uncomfortable, possibly needs a new mattress. The keypad to the door at the front does not work (and appears not to have done so since Oct 2023), this was not reflected in the instructions. More than one dish washer tablet would have been helpful.

Apartment was beautifully finished, views across the harbour were wonderful - hosts had left us with tea, milk and biscuits as well as sundries, so everything was there for us - the fact that there was a lift as well was a bonus for my dad. Perfect location.

Location ideal for exploring the area or just staying put. Accommodation great lots of small touches to make it really comfortable and homely.Really clean ,plenty of space.

Parking. There was no way we could get our car into the bay provided but managed to use the visitors bay. This was the only downside to the stay.

Location perfect and well equipped apartment.

As others have remarked the parking was a little tight. It wasn’t just the narrowness of the space - it was also difficult to manoeuvre into it when the spaces opposite were occupied but have stayed in other apartments in the location and it wasn’t much worse than other spaces theres .
