Freycinet Stone Studio 8 - Sandstone

The studio is beautifully built, and there is plenty of wildlife around and visible to visitors. We planned to go on the boat to wineglass Bay, and the studio is close enough for us to be able to walk along the coastal path to catch the boat. The bathroom was well equipped with everything we needed, including a washing machine which we did not use.

No breakfast supplied. It would have been useful to know when booking that we should bring our own breakfast so we could have bought supplies before coming to Freycinet. The kitchen bench was too small to be able to wash up, and there was no dish drainer area which allowed water to run back in the sink. The polished concrete floors were cool, and in some of this was fine, but in winter, I think it would be quite cold without some sort of rug on the lounge room floor.

The sandstone cottage was very clean and the location was within walking distance to the general store for all your supplies and the local wood fire pizza and fish and chips. We did the Wineglass Bay cruise with Petticott this was a highlight of our stay. I would highly recommend the sandstone cottage.

Amazing view, loved the fire and the clean modern interior. Entrance to unit quite strange around back of house but it felt private.

Gardens and drive needed work - house was well equipped but lounge area not very cozy.

The location was amazing, especially being close to the general store and Geographe wood fired pizza.

Two streets with the same or similiar name in Coles Bay caused some confusion initially and I had to contact the local agent who was helpful
