Castillo del Mar

La ubicación es inmejorable. Justo salir del apartamento y pisas la arena de la playa.

Nos enteramos tarde que había lavadora para uso en común de los apartamentos.

Posizione della casa direttamente sul mare, struttura confortevole con panorama spettacolare. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Proprietari gentili e disponibili. Bella esperienza da rifare.

It was our second time in Castillo del Mar and we would be happy to visit it over and over again. It’s an incredible place right on the beach and the friendliness and hospitality of Antonio and other members of staff are second to none.

Everything was perfect

Very good location close to the beach. You can hear the sounds of the sea. Beautiful view from the balcony. The host is very friendly and kind.

I liked the view over the sea and the mountains, the sun on the terrace from 10.30-21 h, the sound of the waves at night.

Nothing.

The location is wonderful, 20 yards from the beach and the view is perfect. The size of the room was good. The nearest town Almunecar is lovely with a great promenade and all the shops you need. The car park and our dog didn’t cost us anything extra.

The furniture needs updating. The road into the property is really awful.

After a busy week in Granada Castillo del Mar was a restful oasis. It is right on one of the quietest beaches in the area. No high-rises. Just 3 small restaurants and the Castillo. The apartment (number 3) was on the first floor looking directly over the beach from the small terrace. Very private. Wonderful to hear the sound of the waves at night. Good swimming when the sea is calm. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very modern. If you have a car it is easy to drive up into the Alpujarras.

It was a bit hard to find. The sign says Apartamentos Cabria with the words Castillo del Mar in small letters. Best to just get to Playa Cabria and ask at one of the 3 restaurants. Arrival was a bit difficult but if you had a phone and spoke Spanish it would probably be better. Definitely need a car as there is no store nearby. A few more towels and more toilet paper would be nice. There was only one roll. The very soft beds need to be replaced.
