Summerhill Apartments

Nice central location within a 10 minute walk to the beach and town centre. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The TV was modern and there was free WiFi. We enjoyed the outside seating area.

It was very spacious especially for a one bedroom apartment. It had lots of storage for clothes and big bed-side tables. It had everything you need, for example, cooking utensils, hovers, cleaning supplies, big sofa, hair dryer. Things like this make all the difference as we ended up using everything provided. The hosts were amazing and exceptionally welcoming. I broke a wine glass and was reassured it wasn’t a problem and immediately offered to come clean up any wine spilt. (Luckily there wasn’t any).

The only slight issue we had was the water pressure in the shower and kitchen tap when on hot. This was not a big problem for us at all as it didn’t affect our stay.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful before we arrived and when we arrived. The location was great and the kitchen and lounge was pretty well stocked and all linen was clean.

I think the property might benefit from some tlc. It's a little tired, and smells a bit musty/damp in certain parts. One of the single beds was very sunken and uncomfortable, the double creaked on every turn.

Everything just needs updating..the kitchen was not the one we booked for there was no space to put anything the oven needed cleaning .

This is the second time I have stayed at Summerhill apartments. Its always spotlessly clean, relaxing and I would recommend the property.

There's nothing I can find fault with.

Lovely weekend on The Island, The bed was so comfortable, I had the best night's sleep. We walked the coastal path from Shanklin to Sandown.. highly recommend.
