Cascioni Eco Retreat

From the moment my husband and I arrived for a 10 day stay we were met with friendly and helpful staff that took every effort to make our stay as if we were long time friends. From the comfortable bed and pillows to the housekeeping of our room which was serviced twice a day. The hotel offers a beautiful buffet of pastries and homemade yogurt to die for and they can also make you a hot breakfast which was always outstanding. Lunch and dinner were always well done with great service and great food. You must try the ricotta soufflé for a dinner dessert - it's to die for! They also have their own olive oil which they produce and it is excellent. We would go back!

We had the best time at the Cascioni Eco Retreat. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding - we were welcomed by Katrina, our car was parked for us and our bags delivered to our room while Katrina provided us with refreshments, checked us in and gave us a little tour before taking us to our beautiful suite with our very own plunge pool (amazing - we had a dip first thing in the morning, during the day and last thing at night!). The hotel is beautifully designed in understated luxury style with hand made ceramics by a local artist. Breakfast was perfect for us with fresh, local produce being served and eggs from the hotel's own hens. We dined out each evening (we enjoyed both La Colti and Cutter Lounge, the former being our preference albeit it is best to have a very light lunch in order to enjoy the full agriturismo dining experience - even so, we would recommend going for the reduced menu). We very much enjoyed driving to nearby San Pantaleo and had a few lovely dinners there. We had lunch at the Ulia restaurant at the hotel once and the food was very good if a little on the expensive and small portions side. We felt that the experiences offered by the hotel (kayaking and other activities, wellness treatments etc), as well as the Ulia restaurant, were priced too high (we probably would have taken advantage of these options had the prices been around 25-30% lower). Nevertheless, we can't wait to go back!

Using zero‑kilometre produce from their on‑estate gardens and foraged treasures, he transformed local ingredients into an array of dishes that were visually stunning, deeply authentic, and utterly delicious.   Our group—us and our fellow guests—were completely enthralled by the hospitality and professionalism shown by the staff. The atmosphere at Cascioni encapsulates that perfect blend of elegance and calm: the location is private and beautifully restored, with olive groves and natural reserve surroundings that provide a genuine sense of escape. If you’re seeking a refined yet authentic way to discover Sardinian flavors—reimagined by a Michelin-starred talent—then an evening at Ulia is a must-book. It’s not just a meal, but a culinary journey intertwined with nature’s beauty and heartfelt service. Five stars from us for Salvatore Camedda’s inspired cuisine, Cascioni’s stunning setting, and the warm, polished hospitality.
