Chai Village Hotel

The view is beautiful, the structure reminds of Santorini Greece and there is good air conditioning and smart tv (although the screen is quite far from the bed and of small dimensions). We had a bath flooding issue which they sorted out right away and the scooter rental is very efficient for 150k a day. Bed very clean and very bright room lovely to wake up in.

The English language skills of the staff are very limited and we preordered breakfast every night before but they forgot and said it wasn’t available and then suggested we went to the market to have breakfast, but the market is a 5 min ride by scooter which we didn’t have on the last morning as we were checking out, and after a big confusion they figured out how to make us eggs for breakfast so in the end it was ok although we didn’t enjoy stressing out for such a small issue which they could have resolved straight away.

Nice staff! Quaint fishing village. Restaurant next door open for dinner and the food was great! but if you want breakfast you need to order the night before. Not ideal if you are not aware and are catching the water taxi first thing without an other options near by!

The location

Too expensive for what I got

It is located in the fishing village and next to the beach. You can enjoy your dinner and take a look at the beach, which is very nice. The hotel has a restaurant so you can order meals in your need. Or you can buy sea food from local fishers and ask the restaurant to prepare the meal for you. Room is spacious and you can hear the beach waves outside, which is very great to me for sleep. Ky Co beach and Eo Gio are in walking distance.

The water heater is not very stable.

The young couple who run the hotel/restaurant were exceptionally nice and took care of us very professionally. We visited during winter when the area is not very tourism-adapted but still had a lot of fun, ate super well and slept comfortably with the sound of waves crashing outside and a sea breeze in our room.
