Guesthouse OYADO SAPPORO

This was the best guest house I stayed at during my 2 months in Japan. I stayed here twice; for 3 days, and then later for 7 days. Yoshie is an amazing host. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The facilities have everything you need. I met loads of interesting travelers here. You receive breakfast in the morning, and after that there's coffee and drinks for sale, including sake and Sapporo classic draft. It's not in the main center but this isn't an issue. It's a 10 minute walk to the nearest subway station and you can be in the main Susukino commercial district or Sapporo station within 15-20 minutes of leaving the guesthouse. I will 100% be coming back here for my next visit to Hokkaido.

The manager was really kind, the atmosphere was great, and the place was very comfortable I would definitely come back !

Beds big and surprisingly comfy (bunk beds are v rarely comfy!) the common space was lovely to chat and chill out and the host is just the absolute *best*, knowledgeable and friendly but not overbearing or intrusive. Helpful and fun in equal measures, she creates a wonderful atmosphere. I felt very welcome and relaxed here and would come back in a heartbeat. Showers have good strong pressure also:) 7 years of Oyado, hopefully many more years of great business :)

The only tinyyyyy thing i would change would be a small handle/grip on the left side getting into the top bunk, just to be a little more accessible. But this is very minor and more a suggestion than a dislike:)

女将にまた会いに行きたいです

オーナーの気さくな女将さんとの距離が近く、ゲストハウスらしいゲストハウス。ドミトリーのベッドやシャワールームなどがとてもきれいで使いやすかった。地下鉄で10分くらいで大通やすすきのへ出られるので、飲食店の選択は多い。

サービスの朝のトーストに、追加料金で何か乗せることができたらいいかも。スライスチーズを乗せてチーズトーストにとか。それにハチミツもあったら嬉しい。
